6. Doctoral student colloquium
We are pleased to announce the 6. NIE doctoral student colloquium. The colloquium is aimed at providing PhD students working in the area of Industrial Economics with a chance to showcase their research at an early stage of their career in a relatively informal environment. Each presentation will be followed by a discussion led by a peer doctoral student.
The NIE Colloquium is free of charge and will take place Friday 24 June 2016, 10-4pm, at Nottingham University Business School, Industrial Economics and Finance Division, The University of Nottingham.
The deadline for abstract is Friday 13 May 2016. Abstracts should be submitted via email to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We expect to convey the acceptance/rejection decision by Friday 10 June 2016.
There is no charge for attending the conference. However, for catering purposes the deadline for registration will be the Friday 17 June 2016.
The paper to be presented should be submitted by Friday 17 June 2016. This could be a working draft, a complete paper or a single chapter from their PhD thesis.
BIS best paper award of the Royal Statistical Society
The best paper award of the Business and Industrial Section of the Royal Statistical Society will be given for the best contribution to the use and/or advancement of statistical (and econometric) methods to the analysis of industrial economic issues.
